Circus

Within the world of circus, the outward appearance is often dramaticized. Rules are bent, or perhaps even suspended, and societal norms too. It is my belief that in such an environment, self-expression is at its most authentic.

Pushing myself out of my comfort zone, I chose to paint in a looser manner, experimenting with different textures and patterns to fill the negative space.
